Episode 13: 6/26/24 Bonus Catches
• Scottie Scheffler secured his sixth win of the season when he defeated Tom Kim in a playoff at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut. Scottie’s six wins are the most in a season since Tiger had six in ‘09.
• American Tommy Paul won the Queen’s Club Championship 6-1, 7-6(8) over Italian Lorenzo Musetti. It was Paul’s first career title on grass and his third overall. The win makes him now the highest ranked American male.
• Christopher Bell won the Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series races over the weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It was Bell’s third win this series at the Cup Series level.
• The Liberty’s Breanna Stewart became the first player in WNBA history to register 20 points (24), 5 assists, and 5 blocks in a half in NY’s win over the Sparks. She finished with 33 points, 7 boards, and 5 blocks to be the 4th ever to post 30, 5, and 5.
• Tyrell Hatton won LIV Golf Nashville by six strokes (-19) for his first ever LIV Golf title. Hatton completed the double as his team, Legion XIII, also won the team title claiming Legion’s third team victory this season.
