• Keegan Bradley won the BMW Championship in the Tour’s penultimate competition by one stroke at -12. The win vaulted Bradley from outside the top 30 in the standings to number 4 for the Tour Championship next week at East Lake.
• The Baltimore Orioles scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to beat the Astros 7-5 Friday. The big blow was a go-ahead grand slam by Anthony Santander, his 38th home-run on the season.
• Napheesa Collier had 31 points to propel the Minnesota Lynx to a 90-80 victory over the Indiana Fever on Saturday. The win clinched a playoff spot for Minnesota who has the best record in the West.
• Oakland Athletics’ slugger Brent Rooker hit his 30th home-run of the season on Saturday to reach the 30 home-run plateau for the second straight season. The last A’s player to record back-to-back 30 HR seasons was Khris Davis in ‘17-’18.
