Episode 22: 8/28/24 - An Era of Greatness

East coast to West Coast, Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani are two names that are turning heads all over the country. So naturally, they are standing square in the spotlight of this week's episode of What Caught My Eye. They are not the only things in baseball that are attracting attention though. The Kansas City Royals and Bobby Witt Jr. are intent on seeing some baseball in October, and they are pushing for the playoffs like no one else. Baseball is in a GREAT place right now, and we're going to get in to all of it this week.

We're also going to show some love to the world of Women's Athletics. This week LPGA's AIG Women's Open took place at the Old Course at St. Andrew's. We were locked in all weekend, and we saw Lydia Ko come out victorious. The Summer of Lydia continues, folks. Good for her, good for us.

Lastly, College Football is BACK. "Week 0" took place with one premier game, FSU vs Georgia Tech. The game was played out in Dublin Ireland. This was a delectable appetizer of what's to come for the rest of College Football. Don't forget to check out our College Football Preview episodes!

With College Football kicking off, naturally our favorites list had to be geared toward that. We're gonna be talking about our favorite college football stadiums. Get comfortable, turn up the volume, and enjoy. We're thrilled you're here and choosing to spend time with us. Big shoutout to our sponsors, but a bigger one to all of our loyal listeners. We couldn't do this without you.
